Choosing the NHS design system applies NHS-compliant styles and components across the rendered Questionnaire.
Important Notes
- The NHS design system currently supports only the following entry mode:
sequential w. edit
Support for additional entry modes may be added in the future.
-
The NHS design spec has no dropdown component, so every
choiceandcodingquestion with inlineanswerOptionis rendered through the NHS checkbox list, whatever item control (drop-down,autocomplete,radio-button,check-box) is set on it:repeats: true- a list of checkboxes, repeats: false- a list of radio buttons.
-
Questions answered from a value set (
answerValueSet) are not rendered in the NHS design system - only inlineanswerOptionis supported. -
All answer options are rendered at once, there is no paging or collapsing. A question with many options makes for a long page, so keep the option lists short.
