We're excited to share what's new in the June 2025 Aidbox Release (2506)! Here's a quick overview of the latest updates and improvements:
Major New Features
External FHIR Audit Logging
Easily send AuditEvent logs to an external FHIR AuditRecord Repository to strengthen your audit trails and meet compliance requirements.
Development License Behavior
If your database grows beyond the development license limit, Aidbox now logs a warning instead of shutting down — keeping your workflows uninterrupted.
FHIRPath Engine Enhancements
Added support for the FHIR Factory API inside the FHIRPath engine. This unlocks more advanced usage in forms, logic, and transformations.
Updated Java Runtime
We’ve upgraded to Java 21 (LTS) for application builds and Java 24 for runtime — expect better performance and long-term support. See the tutorial
Subscription & Authentication Enhancements

Removed unnecessary ValueSet bindings in AidboxSubscriptionTopics.

- Support for custom resources with logical profiles.
- Added support for updating and deleting custom StructureDefinition resources.
Observability & Monitoring

Aidbox Forms
